The New SCR Office Policy is Now Available!
April 29, 2026:
SCR posted the new and updated model "long" office policy online (The South Carolina Real Estate Written Office Policy).
ALERT: BICs and their brokerage attorney should review this editable SCR office policy and insert your business model language into this editable WORD document to complete your license law requirements. BICs and their brokerage attorney should regularly review the brokerage’s office policy for needed changes and updates. SCR updates this document as laws and issues change over time.
The brokerage’s office policy is a useful way to uniformly communicate your brokerage policy to your associated licensees, and is required to be shown to LLR SCREC state government auditors during office inspections.

LLR SCREC intends to schedule office inspections for all brokerages regularly in the future. So, BICs must get their office policy ready now.
