There will be a US Senate Banking Committee hearing on Appraisal bias and the PAVE report this Thursday, March 24th at 10am ET with PAVE Chair Melody Taylor (also the HUD Fair Housing Director) and Jim Park, Executive Director of the Appraisal Subcommittee titled Strengthening Oversight and Equity in the Appraisal Process:

There will also be a House Financial Services Committee hearing Tuesday, March 29th at 10am ET titled: Devalued, Denied, and Disrespected: How Home Appraisal Bias and Discrimination Are Hurting Homeowners and Communities of Color:

For those interested, there will be a hearing in the Marin County court case on allegations of racial bias in an appraisal there. The hearing is on the motion to dismiss. The hearing is this Friday at 12pm ET/9am PT: https://www.cand.uscourts.gov/judges/chesney-maxine-m-mmc/
