COLUMBIA, S.C. (September 30, 2026) — The 2026 SC REALTORS® (SCR) Leadership Academy class graduated during the board of directors meeting at the association’s legal conference, Business Unusual, in September at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

SCR’s Leadership Academy is the premier leadership class for Realtors®. It is designed to train emerging leaders in real estate so that they may exert a positive influence on the future of SCR, their Local Boards/Associations, their industry and communities. Participants are selected by the SCR leadership academy advisory committee and required to attend five retreats from January to September.

Throughout the program, participants work together in a training course that combines presentations and group activities. Program sessions include developing leadership skills, team-building exercises, goal setting, personal profile analysis, communication, ethical decision-making and legislative advocacy.

Past graduates of the SCR Leadership Academy have gone on to hold leadership positions in real estate companies and organizations as well as in community and governmental positions.
