Dear REALTORS®,
Last night, you should have received a blast email from the staff at the SC Real Estate Commission with this subject line: Commission’s Guidance -Recent Settlement and South Carolina Law
This email was not approved by the Commissioners, specifically this sentence: "Additionally, this form also satisfies the requirements of Paragraph 58, subsection (vi) of the settlement agreement."
The "Disclosure of Brokerage Relationships” form does not currently comply with the settlement provisions as stated in the REC email.
I spoke with the Chair and Vice Chair of the Commission this morning and they plan to issue an update/correction shortly. I am thankful for their quick action to address this error by staff.
If you have any questions, or need any additional information, please contact me or reply to this email. I apologize for any confusion.
Sincerely,
Nick Kremydas, CEO
