REALTOR® Party Mobile Alerts, Realtors advocacy texting platform, offers REALTOR® associations and REALTORS® a way to stay connected directly from their cell phone or tablet. When a national or state legislative call for action is launched, or an important advocacy update needs to be communicated, subscribers will receive a short text message with more information.
The REALTOR® organization only plans on using this text alert system for important REALTOR® issues and in the past made efforts to avoid texting registered REALTORS® unless the problem is important to REALTORS®. So, REALTORS® signing up will not be overloaded with texts from 30644 the REALTOR® organization.
An example of an effective response to these alerts was last year’s flood insurance continuation. The REALTOR® response was significant and assisted with persuading the Congress to authorize the flood insurance act in the federal budget.
As of today, South Carolina has 6,998 members registered. To meet our statewide REALTOR® goals we need to spread the word about the program and increase registration.
