South Carolina REALTORS® conference draws more than 400 Realtors® statewide
COLUMBIA, S.C. (September 14, 2017) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2017 annual conference and expo, Realtor® Revolution at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, August 30th-September 1st, drew more than 400 residential and commercial Realtors® from across the state.
Realtor® members enjoyed speakers and topics focusing on drones, home security systems, virtual reality tours, Realtor® safety and more. Attendees also enjoyed a 26-booth tradeshow.
The SCR board of directors met at the conference and approved the association’s new strategic plan. The board also installed new leaders including 2017 Incoming SCR President, Laura Derrick. Derrick is a Realtor® at Coldwell Banker United in Columbia, South Carolina.

Special guest speakers at the conference included NAR Region 4 VP, Ann McDonald of Kentucky; Sherri Meadows, NAR Region 5 VP of Florida; NAR REALTOR® Party Fundraising Liaison, Kenny Parcell; and the Honorable Chip Huggins of House District 85 in Lexington County. Representative Huggins installed the 2018 officers and directors, including incoming 2018 SCR President Laura Derrick.
