Set up Google Alerts for all your listings. Post sign at the listed property (not for rent). Periodically, patrol your listings. Contact the web provider where the fake rental appears for take down.

Fake organized crime (overseas) spoofing the listing brokerage by posing online as the true seller and then MLS listing the vacant lot and then selling vacant lots of land to real buyers with law firm mail away closings to the fake sellers and then getting the wiring proceeds as the means to get the cash…this scam is occurring.

Check with the owners association to help verify the true owner.
