| NAR settlement objectors lose again at 8th Circuit
The commission-litigation endgame is coming into view. On Sept. 24 the 8th Circuit denied objectors Robert Friedman and Monty March both a panel and full-court rehearing, leaving intact its Aug. 19 decision affirming the Sitzer | Burnett settlement — the latest in a string of losses, after three more objector appeals were tossed Sept. 15 as already ‘fully resolved.’ With more than $1 billion in settlements preserved, the objectors’ only remaining path is a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court.
