From the NAR General Counsel Lesley Muchow:
"…outside counsel that advises the work of the Member Accountability Committee. I’ve copied the MAC’s purpose below, which is essentially to enforce the Member Code of Conduct: https://www.nar.realtor/national-leadership/board-of-directors/meeting-policies-and-procedures/nar-member-code-of-conduct.
Purpose: To maintain and enforce association policies related to member conduct, including but not limited to the Member Code of Conduct and the Leadership Pledge, through the fair and impartial investigation of any alleged violation of applicable association policies in order to promote member accountability and further the association’s commitment to fostering a safe and respectful environment for members and staff to conduct NAR business."
