A member reports a likely fake LLR Inspector scam call.

The member reported that the caller claimed to be an LLR inspector who wanted to set up an office inspection.

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be an LLR Inspector, you can call LLR to verify the inspection and inspector are legitimate.

SCR provides FOREWARN to help members identify scam callers.

The member felt something was "off" about the call (e.g., poor quality call, strange statements, unclear name provided) and used FOREWARN to detect the number came from someone with a significant criminal record displaying on FOREWARN.

The member alerted SCR and LLR of the member’s suspicions.

Be safe out there!

LLR is working on inspections of all brokerages.
So, there are legitimate LLR inspections occurring.
