Kathleen Pinson is the recipient of SC REALTORS® James R. Peters AE Award of Excellence

COLUMBIA, S.C. (December 7, 2021) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) has awarded Kathleen Pinson, Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) vice president of professional and business development, with its James R. Peters AE Award of Excellence. The award was presented at the association’s awards gala in Columbia.

The James R. Peters Association Executive Award of Excellence is named in honor of the former chief executive officer of the South Carolina REALTORS® from 1993 to 2006. The award is given annually to a local board AE or staff member who has excelled in his or her role at the association while demonstrating the highest level of professionalism and ethics.

As a staff member of CCAR, Pinson was nominated for her work overseeing the initiatives of the association including education, commercial outreach, appraisals, the leadership program, and the Young Professionals Network (YPN). Recently her position has shifted to place greater emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Pinson was nominated for her knowledge of the Realtor® association, her skilled communication and her ability to understand the member’s needs while translating it into responsive action.

“Kathleen’s dedication to professionalism in the real estate industry shines through in all she does. She is most deserving of this award,” said SCR President Morris Lyles.
