Since 2021, several associations and MLSs have been the victims of social engineering scams — losing more than $1 million combined. Social engineering is a form of cybercrime that uses leverages human vulnerabities to trick unwary prey into paying money (such as a fake-but-believable invoice), or revealing credentials to access computer networks. (This can affect law firms, too – or any business that employs humans.)

The NAR Insurance Program is hosting a quarterly risk management webinar on Tuesday, July 1 at 1 pm CT. In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What social engineering is, and how AI is accelerating its reach
  • How to spot social engineering attempts
  • What coverage is available with the NAR insurance policies
  • Top risk mitigation strategies to avoid losses

Even if you cannot be on live, please register so you will receive the recording as soon as it’s available. This webinar is designed for associations and MLSs covered by the NAR Insurance Program, so please refrain from sharing the registration with general membership.
