Description:Join Karl and Nell Folkens for a two-hour online advanced training suited for both new and experienced SCR Mediators.
Karl and Nell will provide strategies for effectively conducting mediations in-person or online; avoiding impasse; developing your mediation style; understanding and communicating risk to participants; and informing others of your availability as a mediator.
Karl is a licensed South Carolina attorney and a REALTOR®. He has mediated over 5,100 cases in the past 30 years and has been at the forefront of training attorneys and SCR mediators on conducting Zoom mediations.
Nell is Vice-Chair of SCR Grievance Committee, member of SCR Legal Action Committee and member of Nominating Committee. She is a certified SCR Ombudsman and Mediator. She is also Past President of the Pee Dee REALTOR® Association, 2021 PDRA REALTOR® of the Year and RPAC President’s Circle member.
