Recently, SCR has received a few reports of unusual calls to licensees, listed sellers, and expired listing owners.

The calls range in reports from soliciting for leads and money, to criticizing the listing agent’s market strategies, to involving profanity, to hearing an angry tone, to allegations of threats to harm business reputations.

Getting law enforcement reports/warnings can help broadcast warnings and help defend against potential allegations of libel or slander for broadcasting reports/warnings that are not from government officials.

Always good to review your safety protocols and use the SCR member benefit of FOREWARN uniformly and properly.
